MS257 Filter Wheel, Flange Mount, Motorized

The 77737 Motorized Filter Wheel holds up to five 1-inch diameter [25.4 mm] filters, sold separately. The filter wheel is powered and controlled by the MS257 monochromator or imaging spectrograph. Select a filter position using commands from the MS257 monochromator or spectrograph software. Filter positions are clearly marked on the wheel for easy installation.

Flange mounting the filter wheel provides a light-tight connection, successfully eliminating background light.The standard Oriel 1.5-inch male and female flanges allow the wheel to easily couple to the MS257 input port. 

The MS257 can control up to two filter wheels, making the 77737 ideal for holding all the order sorting filters required for extended range scans. Wavelength changeover points can be loaded into the MS257 so that the appropriate filter is automatically selected for any wavelength. This is of particular importance during an extended range scan so that multiple orders and residual stray light are eliminated.

The 77737 includes screw-in filter retainers, a spanner wrench, a light blocking disk for dark measurements, and a ribbon cable for connecting to the MS257.
