IR Fiber Cable, Chalcogenide Glass, 400 µm Core, 0.32 NA, 1 m, SMA

The 76906 Infrared Fiber Cable is made from Chalcogenide glass. Chalcogenide Fibers are drawn in a core/clad structure, and use a double polymer coating. They are characterized by low optical loss and high flexibility. This 1 meter, SMA terminated fiber cable has a PVC jacket. It has a 400 μm core diameter, a 500 μm cladding diameter, and numerical aperture of 0.32. CIR fibers transmit in the 2000 to 6000 nm range.
