Fiber-Optic Receiver, Multimode, 800-865 nm GaAS Detector, 22 GHz, FC/PC [Phase Out]

The 1484-A-50 Multimode Fiber-Optic Receiver is designed specifically for measurements at 850 nm with multimode (50 µm) input. The unique combination of focusing optics, PIN diode and amplifier selection makes high speed measurement of weak signals possible.

An external power supply, which must be purchased separately, is required – we recommend our power supply. Power supply cables and are included with each detector.

Please note that 1484-A-50 is being phased out. Upon depletion of the existing stock, it will no longer be available.

Instrument Quality in a Small Package

The small size of the modules allows you to connect them directly to your test instrument or another high-speed component. This eliminates the need to follow the photoreceiver with coaxial cable, which can distort time-domain waveforms and attenuate CW microwave signals.

Low-Noise Amplifier

The amplifier combines moderate gain and low noise to reduce the input-referred noise floor of your system. It also maintains linearity at high output levels, providing a high dynamic range.
