Beam Pickoff With D-shaped Mirrors Application Set-up

This Beam Pickoff setup using D-shaped mirrors is a precision optical configuration designed to optimize beam routing in ultrafast laser systems. With reflective coatings extending near the flat edge of the mirror, this setup enables close separation of incoming and outgoing beams which is ideal for folded prism compressor geometries. By allowing beams to travel in the same vertical plane and be efficiently redirected, D-shaped mirrors improve spatial compactness and routing accuracy compared to traditional round mirrors.
