Features

Available in Nine Angle Options

Our Fixed Angle Optical Mount Adapters are used to orient optical components at several fixed angles from 4° to 54.7°. They are offered in both imperial and metric versions to suit your experiment.

Threaded Holes at Top and Bottom

These angle blocks feature 8-32 (M4) threaded hole on the top surface to attach mirror mounts or other optomechnical components. Another threaded hole is at the bottom for mounting to optical post.

Magic Angle Blocks

FAM353 and FAM547 angle blocks are designed to ensure isotropic signals in ultrafast applications such as Transient Absorption Spectroscopy (TAS), Femtosecond Stimulated Raman Spectroscopy (FSRS), and Time-Resolved Fluorescence Spectroscopy (TRFLS). They help to orient the polarizer or beamsplitter to achieve magic angle of polarization between the pump and probe beams (54.7° for linearly polarized probe beam, 35.3° for circularly polarized probe beam) to give a decay signal free from orientational dynamics in samples that are free to rotate or reorient on the molecular level. Please note the rejected beams can travel vertically and extra measures such as eye protection and beam blocks may be required.
