General Description Models

The Spectra-Physics Millennia® Prime™ Series is a family of rugged, high-power CW green DPSS lasers at 532 nm. With output power up to 15 W, Millennia Prime lasers are ideal for 24/7 applications where uptime is critical, including photovoltaic solar cell manufacturing, hard disk texturing, semiconductor inspection, material processing as well as scientific applications such as Ti:Sapphire, dye and solid-state laser pumping.

Most Reliable

The new Millennia Prime lasers are designed specifically for 24/7 industrial use demanding high uptime. Each laser incorporates Spectra-Physics ProLite® diodes with industry leading reliability and lifetime. The laser optical resonator features EternAlign™ optical mount technology for perfect alignment over the lifetime of the laser. Key components (diode/fiber module) are field serviceable to shorten mean time to repair (MTTR). Millennia Prime lasers are tested against the toughest standards and back by a two year warranty, the best in the industry.

Excellent Performance

The Millennia Prime lasers are available in 6, 10, 15 W versions. They feature exceptional low noise of <0.04% rms, TEM00 output and excellent pointing stability at <2 µrad/°C. With a compact footprint, the lasers can be easily integrated into industrial machine tools or used where space is critical. The Millennia Prime series of lasers are CDRH and RoHS compliant.
