Newport offers several rotation mounts for Variable Neutral Density Filters. The FR-CV-75 provides rotational adjustment for any of Newport’s Circular Linear Variable ND Filters having a Ø7.5 mm inner diameter it has both 8-32 and M4 mounting threads and a rotation lock. For filters with a 1-in. inner diameter, models 946 and 946-M are precision kinematic mounts which provides angular adjustment of ±4° about each of two orthogonal axes to control the direction of the reflected beam from the face of the filter. The 946-M utilizes micrometers, instead of thumbscrews, for adjustment. An integrated pointer on the mount indicates the setting of the graduated scale on the attenuator. Model 941 offers the widest possible aperture and provides basic mounting compatibility with posts, platforms and clamps. The spindle is integrated into a block with an array of tapped and clearance holes. Circular Variable Metallic Neutral Density Filters are sold separately.
