Product Description
The Vibration damper (Snubber) is an elastomer-based system that limits and damps the motion of a table supported by I-2000 vibration isolators. The Snubber consists of two conical elastomers connected in an hourglass configuration, and three rollers placed around them. The rollers are secured, via a mounting plate, to the isolator casing, and elastomers are coupled, via another mounting plate, to the piston assembly of the isolator. Whether disturbed by the user or a stage moving at a high rate, the Snubber system will enable the table to quickly settle back to its equilibrium position allowing the user to continue his work. The VS system reduces the settling time typically by two to four times and has minimum effect on the isolation performance of the I-2000 legs.
