VIZIX™ V100 Series Optical Mounts are ideal for general purpose applications requiring a compact, robust, kinematic design at an economical price. They are available in several configurations including standard aperture, clear edge, post-clamp and 2.0 inch platform version for holding mounted mirrors, prisms, or cube beamsplitters. The V100-CP is unique because it locates the mirror’s surface on the intersection of mounting post’s rotation axis and the optical axis. The V100-CP and V100-RQ versions have an integrated post clamp for mounting directly to standard 0.5 in (12.7-mm) optical posts. They are available in an apertured version as well as one for mounting square optics. Precision 100-TPI adjustment screws with brass inserts are standard on all 2-axis V100-series mounts providing exceptionally smooth, high-resolution adjustment. The V100-AX and V50-AX Single-Axis Optical Mounts have only pitch adjsutment and are ideal for use in coarse beam splitting or folding applications where space is limited. These mounts have the CenterPoint™ optic mounting feature, which means the optic is held at the center of rotation of the mounting post. This allows the user to rotate the mount in the post holder and still keep the optical beam on the mirror's surface. Although these mounts only have pitch adjustment, the fact that they can be rotated in a post holder means they also have yaw adjustability.
The new V50-AX and V100-AX mounts have only pitch axis adjustment but are very compact.
The new V100-RQ can hold square or rectangular optics up to 0.25-in. (6.4-mm) thick.
The new V100-RA and V100-RQ optic mounts can be stack-mounted directly on the the same standard 0.5 in (12.7-mm) optical post to create space saving configurations.
The new V100-RA and V100-RQ can be mounted directly to standard 0.5 in (12.7 mm) optical posts allowing a wide height-adjustment range that is simply not achievable using a standard posts and post holders.
The V100-CP can be mounted to the center hole of a rotation stage like the RSP-1T using the RSA-1TI and a standard 8-32 (M4) nut.
