Narrow Design For Compact Mounting of Optical Components

SPH Series, Slim Optical Post Holders feature a smooth, narrow design of their aluminum construction, with an outer diameter of 0.75 in. (19 mm). This profile requires up to 25% less space than standard optical post holders. The space saving benefits are supported by a knob-less, hex key post clamp in a set-screw design inset within the holder.

Easy to Use Hex Clamp

A knob-less hex key post clamp that does not protrude beyond the outer diameter of the post holder and also serves as a deterrent against unwanted tampering. It uses a 5/64-in. (2 mm) hex key.

Through Hole Base Mounting

SPH Post Holders have a 1/4-20 (M6) thru hole in the base and can be attached to optical table directly or to a PHB Series open-slotted base with threaded 1/4-20 (M6) hole. These threaded bases are available in two different thicknesses to provide versatile positioning of the SPH post holders on an optical table or breadboard.
