The new OTS™ platform integrates Newport’s I-1250 pneumatic isolator design with a new rigid frame design to deliver an economical isolation platform with superior isolation performance and unmatched accessories. The I-1250 isolator design has been used extensively by some of the world’s most demanding OEM customers who require a high performance, reliable and low cost of ownership solution.
The SmartTable OTS optical table system is available in the most popular sizes and performance levels to fit any budget and with the exceptional offering of accessories and upgrade options will support any lab’s growing needs. All OTS systems come with casters as a standard feature for easy mobility. |

Upgradeability |
No other optical table system delivers the performance and field upgradeability like the SmartTable OTS optical table system. As system requirements and budgets change users can easily upgrade their system in their lab to improve performance, organization and safety to optimize laboratory space and productivity. As an example, users can initially select an 4’x8’x8” thick ST-UT broadband damped upgradeable table surface with a rigid leg frame and high load casters (OTS-UT-48-8-N) and field upgrade both the damping and isolation performance to the highest performance level available.

Laser Safety Curtain |
The OTS-LSC in an integrated laser safety curtain that connects directly to the SmartTable-OTS overhead shelf and is the quickest and most economical way to achieve laser safety compliance. The curtain complies with ANSI standards and can withstand exposure levels up to 200W/cm^2 for 100sec based upon a 5mm beam diameter. Traditional laser safety curtain systems have either been supported by free standing leg structures, which typically interfere with floor space, or ceiling mounted systems which require additional time and expense to install. The OTS-LSC attaches directly to the OTS or ATS overhead shelf system to provide an integrated, laser safe, optical table system which can easily be relocated or repositioned with the lab.
The ANSI rated 4 foot tall curtain is designed to provide a 12” gap around the perimeter of the table and when installed at its maximum height of 78.5” drapes below the table surface by 8”. The OTS-LSC is offered in several standard sizes to fit the most popular table sizes. If a wider perimeter working area is desired customers can simply purchase a larger curtain. Newport can also provide customized curtain sizes and special materials upon request. |
