This family of photodiode detectors covers the near infrared region, 14,000 to 6,000 cm-1 (0.7 to 1µm). We offer Si and various models of InGaAs detectors. The 80019 Silicon Detector has excellent stability and sensitivity, albeit over a limited range. The InGaAs detectors have a slightly broader spectral response, particularly the 80014 extended InGaAs model, but they are a bit noisier than silicon. These are the preferred detectors for Overtone Spectroscopy. The 80014 Detector requires the 77055 TE Cooler Controller.
