Ball and Socket Stages provide up to ±25° of tilt in any direction and a full 360° of rotation. They are practical for rapid coarse alignment with full freedom of angular rotation. A simple clutch lever locks and unlocks the rotation of the platform in any position. These tilt/rotation stages are useful for positioning video cameras, detectors, lighting systems, and targets.
The mounting-hole pattern for the platform of M-RN-50 is the same as the PI50.01 Adaptor Plate. The mounting-hole pattern for the platform and base of M-RN-86 is the same as the PI86.01 Adaptor Plate (see Intermediate Adaptor Plates).
The load capacity for the M–RN–86 is 25 kg (55 lbs), and the load capacity for the M–RN–50 is 15 kg (33 lbs). |
