The PERFORMA™-i Optical Mounts have been optimized for industrial OEM applications requiring precise angular adjustment, high stability, and "set, lock, and forget" capability.
Tamper-resistant hex head precision 80 or 100 TPI integral adjustment screws provide high-resolution angular motion. Extra-stiff springs enhance long-term stability and provide greater protection against vibrations.
Our patented thread pitch lock securely locks the adjustment screw with just a simple counter-clockwise turn, without influencing the position of the front plate of the mount.
The front plate is anodized per MIL-8625C, type III, providing an ultra-hard bearing surface for the adjustment screws. We've tested this mount to over 200,000 turns of the adjustment screw - with no degradation in performance. That’s well over 20 years of typical use.
PERFORMA™-i Optical Mounts are available in aperture versions for 1 or 2 in. diameter optics, as well as a platform version in the 2 in. size for mounting custom optics, prisms, and beamsplitter cubes. The 1 in. versions are available with either two or three adjustment screws. Turning all three adjustment screws will translate the front plate. The 2 in. version has three mounting holes per side to minimize rotation when you secure the mount and finger cutouts on the front plate to make inserting an optic easier.
KD.75 and KD.37 knobs are available as an option for use with the hex head adjustment screws.
