If your laboratory is equipped with accessible output ventilation ports, these ozone blowers are an economical solution to the ozone problem. They remove the lamp exhaust air by blowing it through a hose and venting it to the outside or to a disposal duct, up to 25 ft. (7.6 m) away. An ozone blower comes with a 4 ft. (1.2 m) length of flexible hose with a flange to attach to the lamp housing, and a 12 ft. (3.7 m) long exhaust hose. Additional 12 ft. (3.7 m) lengths of hose with necessary coupling tube and clamps may be ordered separately.
Works with Oriel® Research Housings
Use these blowers with any of our research housings to 1000 W. The housing fan is removed and one end of the 4 ft. (1.2 m) long flexible hose is fixed to this opening. The other end is attached to the intake port on top of the blower. The exhaust hose is attached to the blower's outlet port and directed to the exhaust area. Fig. 1 shows the configuration.
Also Cools Lamps and Housing Optics
In addition to venting the contaminated air, these blowers maintain the proper lamp operating temperatures for lamps up to 1000 W.
