The Choices

We offer three different thermopile detectors differing in the window material. We coat the active detector element with a black, absorbing coating. The typical spectral properties of this coating are modified by the transmission properties of the windows used with them, which we list in Table 1.

Calibration

The calibrated detectors are shipped with a single value responsivity, representative of the response throughout the spectral range of the detector.
