Product Description
PhotoMax™ is an efficient and versatile Monochromator Illuminator. It uses an ellipsoidal reflector, which surrounds the lamp and collects most of the lamp’s emission. The output is a very high intensity, full spectrum, focused spot matched to our 1/8 m or 1/4 m monochromators. Versatility distinguishes PhotoMax™ from the Apex Monochromator Illuminators . Lamps and reflectors are easily interchangeable. With PhotoMax™, you can switch between arc and quartz tungsten halogen lamps, and IR elements. Apex Monochromator Illuminators are fixed source illuminators; you cannot interchange between lamp types. PhotoMax™ is an efficient and versatile Monochromator Illuminator. | | Oriel Lamp Housing is designed to operate in a typical laboratory environment (typically 68 to 76 degrees F, up to 45% relative humidity). Temperature and humidity outside of typical laboratory range can contribute to cooling and ignition faults. Cooling issues will cause the over temperature sensor to open, and ignition problems will result from high humidity. Contact a Newport Technical Representative for more information if operating outside the suggested range. |
