The 70703 is a simple, low cost laboratory power supply. We use it to power our preamplifiers and detectors with built-in preamplifiers. It provides ±15 V DC at 300 mA, and 5 V DC at 2A. The ±15 V provides power for the instruments listed in Table 1; the +5 V is used for our Oriel PbS and PbSe detectors to power their built-in bias supply, or other laboratory instruments requiring +5 V DC.
