New! Newport now offers Optical Power Meter calibration service, in compliance with ANSI Z540, on select models: 1936-C, 1936-R, 2936-C, 2936-R, 1928-C, 1918-C, 1918-R, as well as some of our legacy power meters, 1815-C, 2832-C, 1835-C, 2835-C, 1931-C, and 2931-C.
Newport recommends recalibration of Optical Power Meters every 12 months to maintain the accuracy specifications. Newport's Power Meter Recalibration Service comes with a Certificate of Calibration, calibration data, a list of all equipment used in performing the calibration and a calibration sticker identifying the next date of calibration. Recalibrations follow the same process as the calibration of new instruments and include the same documentation (see above). This calibration is performed independent of the detector calibration service. Also available are expedited calibration services. Newport optical meter recalibrations cannot be ordered online.

All meters come with either a Certificate of Conformance or a Certificate of Calibration.
