Optical Filter Mount and Holder Selection Guide

Optical Filters are used to selectively transmit light. Light that is not transmitted is absorbed by the optical filter. Optical Filter Mounts allow you to position an optical filter where you need it. Newport offers a full range of Optical Filter Mounts to meet various experimental requirements. Optical Filter Mount types include Individual Optical Filter Mounts and Filter Holders, Indexed Optical Filter Wheels, and the new VersaStar™ Modular Optical Filter Wheel which allows filters to be easily added and removed from the filter wheel by hand without tools.
