NSTRUCT offers free, single-file download and installation of NSTRUCT framework together with user selectable instrument specific utilities, called as applets.

Automatic instrument discovery facilitates quicker and convenient instrument connectivity. The robust communication layer of NSTRUCT offers seamless connectivity over USB, GPIB, serial and Ethernet communication channels.

Integrate your LabVIEW®, C#.NET® & Python® code to NSTRUCT
You can integrate your own LabVIEW, C#.NET programs as part of NSTRUCT. You are free to modify Newport provided ‘Python’ based scripts. Newport provides procedures to do so. You can even communicate with third party instruments using NSTRUCT. Ready to use LabVIEW applet template and video documentation will guide you to create your own apps.

Or use NSTRUCT supplied LabVIEW samples in your own LabVIEW code
Instrument specific LabVIEW samples, projects are included in NSTRUCT. Feed free to use them in your own LabVIEW work. Use these or feel free to use univeral LabVIEW kit for instruments that are not NSTRUCT powered yet. There are simple yet detailed videos that quickly help you to get going.

Single place with multiple ways to control your Instruments
Newport supplied applets and Python scripts enable you to communicate with your instruments right away. A ‘Universal terminal’ allows you to connect to any instruments without the need to use any of the instrument specific utilities.

Instruments can be shared simultaneously amongst many users
User controller sharing of instruments is possible with NSTRUCT. Multithreading is one of the many advanced features that NSTRUCT offers.

Control your set up locally or remotely
You may be in the lab in front of your optical table or working remotely at your desk, instrument control is at your hands with NSTRUCT.

Powerful diagnostics and help
NSTRUCT offers an XML based, color coded log viewer. It allows time saving diagnostics. You can also send the logs directly to Newport tech support using links provided within NSTRUCT itself. Multiple help options such as context sensitive HTML help, videos, How To’s are also available.

NSTRUCT is friendly with Windows platforms including 32 bit WindowsXP, 64 bit WindowsXP, 32 bit Windows7 and 64 bit Windows7.

Applets and Examples
Use Newport’s supplied free applets. You can download LabVIEW samples to create your own applets. And you can integrate your LabVIEW programs as well. New applets and new sample programs are uploaded on continual basis.
