Product Description
The NSC200 is an integrated, hand-held stepper motor controller-driver offering affordable, single axis control of the NSA12 micrometer replacement actuators (see Miniature Motorized Actuators), CMA-PP actuators (Compact Motorized Actuators), MFA-PP linear stages (see Miniature Linear Stages) and the NSR1 (see Universal Rotator) rotation stages. Used alone, the NSC200 is an easy and affordable option to control a single positioner. The handheld NSC200 has a convenient single control knob and features a 64x microstepping ratio for ultra-smooth, high resolution positioning. Adding an external NSC-SB switchbox allows a single NSC200 to control up to eight positioners, one axis at time.
Two primary control modes are selectable whether or not a switchbox is used: Local (manual control) and Remote (computer control). Selection of Local or Remote is easily accomplished by pressing the knob of the NSC200. The control mode is indicated by the color of a tri-color LED.
Two secondary control modes are selectable whether the controller is in Local or Remote mode - Velocity or Position. In Velocity mode, the rotary knob is turned to select one of eight speed settings for each direction. The farther the knob is rotated, the faster ...
