Features

Cabled Versions Available

Cabled standard fibers have a 900 µm outer jacket, surrounded by a layer of Kevlar® strands for added strength and protection. An outer PVC cable jacket provides additional environmental protection. Check individual product specifications for jacket diameter information. Cabled graded index multi-mode fibers have an operating temperature of -20°C to +80°C, and are identified by the -C suffix in their model number.

Large Temperature Range of Operation

These Standard Communication Grade multimode fibers have a 250 µm acrylate buffer coating, allowing continuous operation in the -65°C to +135°C temperature range. High-temperature, multi-mode communication grade fibers are also available. The polyimide buffer coating applied to these fibers extends their upper operating range to +375°C and increases their chemical and abrasion resistance, enabling their use in harsher environments. High-temperature fibers are identified by the -T suffix in their model number.

Large Bandwidth with Low Attenuation

Utilizing a graded-index design, these multimode fibers demonstrate a large bandwidth of operation while providing low attenuation. The graded-index design also provides a significant decrease in modal dispersion when compared to step-index fibers.

Standard and Custom Patch Cables Available

Standard patch cables are available in several standard lengths with FC, ST, and SMA connectors. If you need custom configuration, please use our custom patch configurator model: F-PATCH-CUSTOM
