Standard Communication Grade Fibers have a 250 µm acrylate buffer coating, allowing continuous operation in the -65°C to +135°C* temperature range.
Cabled standard fibers have a 900 µm outer jacket, surrounded by a layer of Kevlar^® strands for added strength and protection. An outer PVC cable jacket, 3 mm in diameter, provides additional environmental protection. Cabled fibers have an operating temperature of -20°C to +80°C, and are identified by the -C suffix in their model number.
