Motion Controllers from Newport provide motion control for the most advanced single and multi-axis motion systems. Driving the most advanced motion applications is the XPS Universal High Performance Motion Controller. The controller is offered in configurations of 2, 4, 6 and 8 axis control. The XPS motion controller can drive Stepper, DC Servo, Brushless, Piezo, Voice Coils and other types of motors. With an extensive catalogue of features including: extensive analog and digital I/O, servo cycle of 10 KHZ and a trigger latency of 50 ns; you can be certain you are getting the highest level of performance from your motion system. The XPS also offers numerous driver libraries for fast, efficient programming with LabVIEW, Matlab, C and TCL.

The popular ESP301 Motion Controller with integrated drivers has an industry standard for precision motion control on 1 to 3 axes. Availble in 1, 2 and 3 axis motion control configurations, the ESP301 is an excellent option for high precision motion of DC Servo and Stepper Motor Stages and Actuators. Using ESP technology, the controller comes ready for plug and play operation. Easily interfaced through RS232, USB, and GPIB, the controller includes an extensive command set and front panel control. The controller offers 16 Digital I/O channel for external or internal event synchronization, making the ESP301 a field proven, high performance motion controller that is easy to use, effective and affordable.

With integrated positioners, CONEX Motion Controllers offer an excellent compact, affordable solution for single axis motion control. The compact size, performance and low cost makes these controllers ideal for systems integration. SMC100 Motion Controllers are another cost-effective, high precision motion controller offered by Newport for single axis control. Capable of driving both DC Servo (SMC100CC) and Stepper Motors (SMC100PP), SMC100 controllers can be used with many Newport positioning products. These controllers can be also be chained for multi-axis control.
