The new 818-GF Tunable Gain/Filter Optical Sensor is both a portable field unit as well as a high performance benchtop optical measurement tool. Defined by its rich operational feature set, the 818-GF is in a class by itself.
It includes a photodiode receiver with an adjustable gain transimpedance amplifier followed by independent high and low pass filters, which are adjustable too. The 818-GF would be a welcome addition to any manufacturing floor, not to mention development, QA, or Service and Support areas doing testing, or designing optical systems or components.
The 818-GF assures superior performance by providing a 3 dB bandwidth exceeding 1 MHz. The low noise operation provides a large dynamic range. Switchable filters enable rejection of unwanted noise.
With its ergonomic design, the 818-GF is ideal for both fixed and mobile applications. Its many value-added features make it a truly user-friendly instrument. When powered by two 9V alkaline batteries, it eliminates any concern about power line pickup or ground noise.
