Newports Fabry-Perot (FP) Laser Diode Modules are available at various wavelengths from 375 nm to 1550 nm with high optical power levels. They can be used in a wide range of analytical, industrial and biomedical applications. The LPM Series diode laser modules include the diode and collimating optics in a single case. The LQC Series includes self-contained laser diode modules with superior optical quality, a very high precision current source and a PID temperature controller, built in the module. For those who want a diode laser module with a simple, cheaper fixed output power, LPM series is suitable, while the LQC series laser modules are ideal for demanding experimental setups where the temperature and the current control are important. All the diode laser modules are available either in elliptical (the E versions) or circular beam output (the C version). The wavelength indicated is typical values only, due to the nature of FP lasers. Newport's LPMS Series Power Supplies must be used for these LD modules and meet CDRH requirements by providing an interlock input, key enable switch, delayed start-up, and laser active indicator. | Newport's LPMS Series Power Supplies are not just power supplies. This is a key instrument that will make the LPM and LQC laser diode modules CDRH compliant. It provides an interlock input, key enable switch, delayed start-up, and laser active indicator. The laser modules in the wavelength range of 375-473 nm require an 8/12 VDC power source. Those in the range of 635-2330 nm require a 5 VDC power source. |
