Laser Beam Position Detector Selection Guide

In addition to Newport's OBP series laser beam position detectors, we now have New Focus' PSDs and quadrant cell detectors. With the expanded family, we can support variety of requirements such as cw and pulsed laser beams, analog and USB output, visible and near IR beam. Quad-cell detectors are better for centering the beam to a certain spot, while PDSs are better for measuring beam position across the active area.
