Product Description
The high precision and stable design of the MHX Huxley-Style Micromanipulator is the ideal solution for long-term intracellular recordings, patch-clamp recordings and other high-precision cell-probing tasks.
A solid brass frame attached to the top of a heavy-duty, rotating base, supports the micromanipulator assembly. The heavy mass and a low center-of-gravity enhances stability. The base can be rotated 360°, allowing the entire unit to swing in and out for rapid electrode change and can quickly be locked with a lever. An adjustable stop on the rotating base allows the unit to return to a pre-determined position.
The rotating base comes with a mounting base which can be bolted to Newport s vibration-isolated workstations. The base can also be mated to Model 200 Magnetic Base for more flexible placement of the MHX.
