Newport offers a complete line of Helium-Neon (He-Ne or HeNe) Lasers, at the wavelengths of 543 nm, 632.8 nm (Helium-Neon (HeNe) Lasers - Red 633 nm), 1.52 µm, and 3.39 µm (Helium-Neon (HeNe) Lasers - Infrared), that combine both high performance and affordability. All Newport HeNe lasers are CE compliant except R-32413, R-31425 and R-32734. The green HeNe laser product family offers TEM00 and higher order mode structures at 543 nm. All are available in either linear or random polarization. The 543 nm wavelength is highly visible (near photopic vision peak), making this wavelength ideal for alignment applications. In addition, the green He-Ne lasers find its place in many biophotonic applications. We offer products with power levels ranging from 0.5 mW to 2.0 mW. Utilizing enhanced designs and superior optical components these lasers deliver unsurpassed operational stability and lifetimes. Polarization
We have models whose outputs are either polarized or randomly polarized. Due to the random fluctuation of the polarization state of the beam, it is not recommended to use a polarizer with a random polarization laser for applications where polarized light is required.
