Goniometeric stages rotate an object about an axis, which is unobstructed by the stage itself, located over the center of the top platform. GON Series Goniometeric Rotation Stages utilize an actuator-driven precision dovetail slide and are spring-loaded to reduce the backlash commonly found in similar worm-grear driven stages. The spring-loaded design allows the additional advantage of interchangable actuators which allow selection of adjustment sensitivities from a variety of actuators such as precision adjustment screws, differential micrometers, or motorized actuators. Like-sized GON Series stages can be used alone or stacked. In a stacked configuration, the axes of rotation will intersect with eachother for orthogonal motion about a common point in space.
