Model 78380 Filter/Cuvette Holder.
We offer various filter and cuvette holders for our IS Minispectrometers. These include: Combination Filter/Cuvette Holder for fiber coupled minispectrometers 2 and 4-Port Cuvette Holders for fiber coupled minispectrometers Filter Slide for flanged minispectrometersNote, the IS Series Minispectrometers have an integrated order sorting filter; a proprietary order sorting film is applied directly to the photodiode detector to block second and third order effects.
For the fiber-coupled spectrometers, we offer the model 78380 combination filter and 2-port cuvette holder to hold 2 inch (50.8 mm) diameter or square filters in the beam path (maximum filter thickness is 3 mm), or any 10 mm path cuvette. Light is coupled to and from the holder via fibers with 78382 Collimating Assemblies, which must be purchased separately. The holder does not accept SMA terminated fibers directly. The Collimators improve system efficiency; the first collimates the diverging output from the delivery fiber and the second assembly focuses the collimated light into the collection fiber. The 78380 has a 1/4-20 tapped hole and 4 through holes for rod mounting to an optical table.
The 78381 2-Port and 78385 4-Port Cuvette Holders accept any 10 mm path length cuvettes. Light is coupled to and from the Cuvette Holders via fibers with 78382 Collimating Assemblies, which must be purchased separately. Our free-space IS Series Minispectrometers have an Oriel 1.5 inch series male flange. We offer a 1.5 inch series female flange filter slide, which independently holds two 1.0 inch (25.4 mm) diameter filters up to 4 mm thick. This slide, model 78379 , also has a 1.5 inch series male flange; two detents ensure repeatable filter position.
The 78382 Set of Collimating Assemblies collimate the diverging output from a fiber, or focus a collimated beam, into a fiber. These probes are used at the ends of SMA terminated fibers to carry light to or from the filter holder and cuvette holder. The fibers and the collimators must be ordered separately. The 78382 is a set of 2 Collimating Assemblies.
