The FPH-SR Strain Relief prevents inadvertent motion of bare fibers without introducing microbending. All bare fiber chucks ordered from this catalog accommodate this lightweight Delrin strain relief. Simply thread the fiber through it, then screw it on the end of the holder. Its Delrin jaws are relieved to fit around the fiber for a gentle grip.

For cabled fibers FPH Series bare fiber chucks and holders are compatible with the FPH-C Cable Clamp. This compact device slips over the end of the fiber holder and grips fiber cables to relieve any stress applied to the fiber by the weight of the cable.
