Newport's new RoHS compliant 1916-R Hand-held Optical Power Meter, replacing the 1916-C, provides an economical means for making both low and high power measurements. The portable style makes it great for field service, and it is intuitive enough to master the monitor in minutes. It runs on four AA batteries up to 670 hours.
This optical power meter is equipped with a DB15 input connector for direct compatibility with Newport's 818P thermopiles, 918D Series and 818 Series detectors with a /DB suffix. The 818 Series with /CM suffix or with an 8-pin Din connector requires an 841-DIN adapter. For more information about Newport optical power meter and detector compatibility, see Optical Power and Energy Meter Selection Guide.
AC adapter sold as an accessory. Batteries are non-rechargeable.
