Product Description
Echelles are coarse, high-blaze angle gratings used in high diffraction orders. Our echelle gratings enable compact system design by providing very high dispersion and resolution. Typical applications include laser tuning, astronomy, and atomic absorption spectroscopy.

Ordering Information
Please note: Blaze angles listed here are approximate. Effective blaze angles for echelles are dependent upon the specific master as well as the diffraction order and geometry in which the grating will be used.

Shown here is an example of an efficiency curve for our plane ruled reflection gratings. A complete set of curves are available on our website. Note: Many of these curves are relative (not absolute). They are only representative, and can vary significantly depending on use geometry and measurement technique. Two masters with the same catalog number may have different efficiency curves.
