Newport offers a complete portfolio of low power CW solid state lasers, including a 488 nm version that is critical for many bioinstrumentation applications. Our Cyan™ and Excelsior^® lasers are high-performance, highly-reliable devices that have been designed to meet the requirements of many demanding applications, even in harsh operating environments.

One significant advantage of our low power CW solid state lasers is the simplicity of design – one laser head and one controller are required to operate a complete system. A very small laser head in combination with the smallest footprint allows customers to integrate the lasers in instruments where size is one of the driving factors.
