Designed for cleanroom use, these wipes are soft and non-abrasive for cleaning delicate optical surfaces. Both are extremely absorbent, holding 5–8 times their own weight. Fastsorb® 820 is composed of mechanically entangled 70% rayon and 30% polyester. It is ideal for its high absorbency, leading to minimal sleeking. Absorbond™ is composed of hydroentangled 100% polyester.
These wipes have low solvent extractable levels, therefore very little nonvolatile residue is left on the optical surface. The Absorbond® is from Texwipe. |
