ACGP

Model ACGP Silent Air Compressor is ultra quiet (just 30 dB(A) at 1 ft), clean, portable and more convenient than bottled air supplies. The ACGP will supply air to any Newport pneumatic isolator, optical table system or workstation. The supply tanks are large enough to run multiple workstations or table systems simultaneously.

The compressor operates intermittently based on air usage; monitored by a sensor that maintains the reserve tank’s preset minimum pressure. All required hardware—safety valve, gauges, outlet cocks, fittings and drain—comes standard. Even a high-grade air filter/regulator is included. There’s nothing more to purchase.

The ACWS Silent Air Compressor is clean, ultra quiet (30dB(A) at 1 ft.), portable, and more convenient than bottled air supplies. The fast filling and economical ACWS can supply air to any workstation or OTS system. The supply tank is large enough to run multiple workstations.

The Model ARF Air Regulator/Filter removes contaminants from the air and regulates it to the optimum pressure for operation of the isolation system. This is important since compressed air plumbed from a central facility usually contains water and rust particles that can clog an isolation system. One Model ARF is recommended for each Newport isolation system for maintenance free operation. Operating range is 0–120 psi.

Model IPV Series leveling valves offer you a wide variety of valve options for both new and existing isolator systems. The IPV-S1 comes standard on most Newport pneumatic isolators and gives repeatability of ±0.010 in. (0.25 mm). The IPV-S1 is the best compromise between excellent isolation and re-leveling response time. Low gain versions are available to soften the isolation system and improve higher frequency isolation. High gain isolators improve re-leveling response time at a slight decrease in high frequency isolation. High-precision versions provide improved re-leveling accuracy to better than ±0.002 in.

High-Flow Valves are also available. These valves are designed specifically for use with motion systems. Like the IPV they are available in standard and high-precision versions. The high-precision versions provide re-leveling accuracy to better than ±0.02 in.(0.05 mm) and settle in less than 3 sec.

Gravity Docking Systems allow the isolated payload to be stabilized during part movement, robotic transfers and other precision motion events. Solenoids are added to the valve system to release controlled amounts of air. This allows the support platform to settle onto docking pins and secure the platform in place. The amount of air release depends on the type of isolator, load and recovery time requirements. Please contact Newport’s Custom Products Team to integrate docking into your isolated platforms.
