Product Description
The 700 Series TO-can Temperature Controlled Laser Diode Mounts provide a versatile mounting solution for the most demanding laser diode control in the laboratory. Direct access to the laser TO-can window is available using the 700-9-5.6 mount, for both the TO-9 and TO-56 can type. Collimation of the divergent output of a free space laser diode is accomplished using the 700C mount, while fiber pigtailed TO-can diode lasers (see Fiber Pigtailed Laser Diodes) are accommodated in the 700P laser mount. For collimating divergent output beams, a precision lens alignment mechanism and multiple-element collimating optics are available.
Optimum temperature control is achieved with two built-in 12.5 W Peltier thermoelectric coolers (TEC), and an optional water-cooled backplate, which increases low-end temperature capability. To increase system flexibility, the mounts incorporate nitrogen purge fitting, pre-drilled holes for mounting your circuitry, a BNC modulation port, and both thermistor and AD592CN temperature sensors.
Newport's 500B Series Low Noise Laser Diode Controllers (see Laser Diode Drivers) and 300B Series Temperature Controllers (see Temperature Controllers, 300B Series)are ideal instruments for these diode laser mounts.
