600A Series Optical Mounts are designed to offer even greater versatility and functionality. The baseplate is detachable, which allows you to convert your mount to a left-handed version. Additionally, a third actuator can replace the pivot bearing to provide pure translation without tilt, eliminating the need for an additional linear stage.
The mount possesses sound mechanical designs, including hardened inserts at the contact points of the kinematic mount. For higher resolution, the mounts may be fitted with 100 tpi AJS Adjustment Screws or DM-13 Differential Micrometers. For automated applications, the 600A Series Mounts are compatible with all of Newport’s motorized actuators.
Model 600A-4R accommodates 4 in. diameter mirrors directly and 3 in. diameter mirrors using the optional A-4-3 adaptor. Model 600A-2R holds 2 in. diameter mirrors directly and 1.5 in. or 1 in. optics using the optional A-2-1.5 or A-2-1 adaptors respectively.
