The Spectra-Physics Model 177G ion laser is a laser suitable for laboratory or instrumentation use. The beam quality and stability for which ion lasers are known is offered in single line and multi-line versions, as well as with polarized and unpolarized options. Output powers from 100 mW polarized at 488 nm (single-line) to 400 mW for unpolarized multiline (458 nm to 514.5 nm) are available. The plasma tube is based on technology proven in over 30 years of industrial applications requiring many thousands of hours of reliable operation. The power factor corrected Model 277 power supply (ordered separately) conforms to CE-mark regulatory requirements. The laser can be operated and monitored with external analog control signals, or with the Model 377G Controller (ordered separately). |
Spectra-Physics patented Wavelength Selective Mirror coating technology enables the most efficient laser operation, which results in lower operating currents and longer lifetimes- The latest regulatory requirements are met by the power factor correcting power supply
- Spectra-Physics patented protective, enclosed mirror mounts eliminate accidental misalignment and contamination during tube service and worldwide shipment
- Spectra-Physics patented brazed-on cooling fins ensure optimum cooling of the tube, resulting in superior beam pointing stability, shorter warm-up times and longer lifetimes
- 177G laser head and 277G power supply systems are fully UL, CE, and CDRH certified for straightforward international shipments
- ISO 9001 certified factory ensures quality design, manufacturing and service
- The laser can be operated and monitored with external analog control signals, or with the Model 377G Controller (ordered separately)
